You will not be charged a cancellation fee for canceling an appointment at least 8 days in advance of your pickup or delivery date.
If you cancel within 1 week of your pickup or delivery appointment you will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
If you are cancelling a pick-up and you received our supplies, you must return them to a crew member on campus or a fee of $5 per box will be applied.

Below is the list of our additional services and added fees. Please know that there are never fees for scheduling a new pickup appointment, receiving your complimentary boxes and tape, or canceling within 1 week of pickup or rescheduling an appointment with 72 hours notice!
Additional Services:
$10 – Moving Blanket Rental
$5 – Declared Value Protection (per $100 of additional coverage for a specific item)

Added Fees:
$25 – Overweight Box Fee (box weighing over 60 lbs)
$50 – Unthawed Fridge Fee (please unplug, thaw, and clean your fridge before storing!)
$70 – Missed Appointment Fee
$25 + $5 per week Late Fee for Storage Goods invoice
$160 – Special Appointment Fee (i.e. any dates outside of our free standard dates)
$70 – Guaranteed Time Window
After we physically pick up your items, we will post an invoice to your online account within 48 hours. Once received, you will have seven days to pay your invoice, or a $25 late penalty is added. An additional fee of $5 per week is added until you make your payment so we kindly ask you to be prompt!

Below are some tips on how to pack our most commonly stored items.
Plastic Drawers/Bins
We recommend you put all plastic drawers into our cardboard Mega Boxes. Plastic bins are brittle and can break in transit. Storing them inside a cardboard box ensures the safety and security of the contents.
If your plastic bins do not fit into a cardboard box we recommend you tape the drawers shut and firmly pack the contents within to prevent things from shifting during transport. DO NOT TAPE MULTIPLE BINS TOGETHER! This make the bins heavy and more likely to break while in transit exposing your items to the risk of loss. Each plastic bin will be counted as an individual item even if taped together.
TVs
We accept TV's up to 50". When packing your TV it is best to use the original packaging so that it will be covered under insurance. Keep in mind, we are unable to insure any electronics not packed in their original packaging. TV's can be stored outside of a box, but we are not able to insure them if packed in this manner. If you no longer have the original packaging, we recommend purchasing a TV box from a local hardware store or Uhaul location to secure the item.
Refrigerators:
Unplug your refrigerator for a minimum of 2 days before your pick-up appointment and place the refrigerator on a towel with the doors open. This allows the refrigerator to defrost and dry which prevents mold from forming during storage. Refrigerators that are not thawed before pick-up will defrost in our warehouse and can damage surrounding items. A $50 fee will be charged if your refrigerator is not properly defrosted. Wrap up the cord and tape it behind the coils found on the rear side. Tape any drawers/shelves inside to prevent shifting during pick-up/drop off.
Microwave
Remove the glass plate in your microwave and pack it with one of your other boxes. We recommend you carefully wrap it in a moving blanket or towel.
Rug
Roll your rug tightly while on the ground and apply tape fully around the item perpendicular to the seam. Apply tape in three locations: towards the end of each side and in the middle of the rolled rug. It is also recommended that you wrap the entire rug it in plastic to prevent it from getting dirty.
Lamp
Most lamps consist of multiple threaded pieces that can be unscrewed into there individual parts. Unscrew each section and put the disassembled lamp into a cardboard Mega Box with a moving blanket for cushion. If the lamp cannot be unscrewed into multiple pieces, remove the light bulbs (protected with fabric and added to a box or bin being stored) and cover the lamp shade with a plastic bag.

If you are unavailable during your scheduled time window for a pick-up, there are a few solutions.
#1 You can have a friend or roommate meet our crew (we only require a phone number to be added to the account)
OR
#2 You can change your moving pick-up date through your account.
If you have know you do not have much availability on the pick-up date you selected, you can also request a guaranteed 3 hour pickup window for a $75 fee on standard pick-up date, but this must be done BEFORE your scheduled time window is set. Once schedules are set and sent we can not alter pick-up times. On our busiest days we pick up hundreds of customers and we would be doing them a disservice to have to adjust our pick-ups to make last minute accommodations. We apologize for this inconvenience. We wish we could be everywhere at once but unfortunately we can't!
